Jamaica Halal Council provides consultancy and training about planning, implementation and control of the Halal service and production process. We manage and guarantee quality in compliance with internationally recognized halal vetting bodies. In order for a product to be considered Halal, it must not come into contact with goods that do not meet the dictates of Islamic Doctrine. For this reason JamHalCo certifies logistical platforms in ports, freight terminals and airports, including all kinds of means of transport.
Individuals and organizations that are trained will become proficient in production and provisioning of services in compliance with halal principles. Training will drastically improve the possibility of your operations and end products being certified Halal.
Training on Halal Tourism Standards. International trade of halal certified goods and products, history and current state of halal certification, current status of halal tourism country examples of technical regulations on halal certification, relevant articles of OIC/SMIIC 1:2019, OIC/SMIIC 4:2018, OIC/SMIIC 6:2020 standards, OIC/SMIIC 9:2019 standard, fundamental accreditation processes and rules of the Halal Accreditation Agency Cost: 100 USD/Person or 250 USD/Business for up to five employees. Participants will be awarded with a “Certificate of Participation” at the end of the training. Then an inspection of operations will be scheduled and done and on passing inspection, a Certificate of Halal compliance will be provided.
